Beastborne

Arena of the Wildkin. An interactive command hub for a concept fighting game: eight beastfolk clans, each recoloring the whole interface, with a 3D stage, generative audio, and an AI-augmented character pipeline. Design, art, code, and sound from one set of hands.

A portfolio can say someone designs, builds, and directs. It has a harder time showing all three at once. I wanted one piece that proves the range, brand and character art and interface and front-end and sound, working as a single system you can actually touch.

Beastborne is a fullscreen command hub for an invented fighting game. Eight clans, each with lore, stats, abilities, a signature weapon, and an accent color that recolors the entire HUD live. A radial roster wheel selects the kin, a dossier reads their story, and the name plays back as generated voice. The fighters came through an AI-augmented pipeline, generation then background removal then color grade, composed onto a graded 3D-lit stage. Built in React 19, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind, with Three.js for the stage and the Web Audio API driving procedural music and effects. One screen, no scroll, everything reactive.

A single artifact that carries the full stack of the practice: identity, character design, UX, front-end, and audio. It ships live and plays in the browser, per-clan theming and all. The clearest one-piece answer to what a creative technologist actually does.
